Host Your Own TIOS
Dear past, present, and future TIOS representatives,
There are some new changes for this years TIOS events, 1) we are transforming the idea of the state reps into TIOS reps with the expectation that you will coordinate some sort of TIOS event for your local community. 2) TIOS events will fall into three tiers: Tier 1
would be smaller, more informal events such as setting up a table at a tate/regional event or hosting a discussion around TIOS worthy topics; Tier 2
would be more involved events such as coordinating a research panel or a lecture, hosting a fundraiser, or arranging attendance at a performance; Tier 3
would be the mini-conferences. Regardless of the event tier, all TIOS activities would need to be approved by the AATE office. If you have questions regarding the new role of TIOS reps in AATE, please do not hesitate to contact Betsy Williams (email@example.com)
or Gary Minyard (firstname.lastname@example.org
The theme for 2013 will be Theatre in our Schools: Fostering a culture of creativity.
Mini-conference application materials can be found below. We will be doing a rolling application process so the earlier you get your application in, the earlier it will be reviewed and decided upon! We have uploaded planning documents, which can be found below, including a calendar to help you meet deadlines within the mini-conference planning process.
We look forward to a very creative year!
