THEATRE IN OUR SCHOOLS: CELEBRATING WHAT WORKS

The American Alliance for Theatre and Education and the Illinois Theatre Association are excited to present an an innovative afternoon with master drama teachers in celebration of AATE's Theatre in our Schools Month.

-Master teachers in action! Session leaders include AATE President Betsy Quinn, longtime drama teacher Laurel Serleth, mask maker David Knezz and Mime Company artistic directors Amanda Brown and Eliot Monaco.
-Keynote address by Karen Erickson!
-Demonstrations of lesson plans, games and classroom ideas!
-Specialty classes on Mime and Mask work!
-Special performance of Jose Cruz Gonzales' Salt and Pepper by the Purple Crayon Players!
-Networking opportunities with other professionals from all over Illinois!
