FAQ
Here's where you can find tips that will help you take advantage of all of the new site features. Please don't hesitate to contact the AATE Office with any questions.

I have received an error message or found a glitch in the new site.
Please contact us if you encounter any issues and we will investigate them promptly.

Current AATE members can login to use members-only resources and search the member directory.

I can't log in.
* If you are certain your membership is current, see the question below to determine your username and password.
* If you entered an email address that is not recognized by our system, call or email the AATE Office to verify your membership status and to confirm the email address we have for you on file.
* Not currently a member?  You can now join or renew online.

I am a current member, but don't know my username or password so I can't sign in.
* Your user name is the primary email address you provided when you joined AATE.
* Your password is your member number, a number assigned by the AATE database.
* Current members can select the "forgot your password" link on the left side of the page and enter the email address you provided on your membership application. Your username and password will then be emailed to you.

Once I login, I can't find any of the "Members Only" pages.
* The "doorway" to all of the "Members Only" options is the starred "Member Preferences" link in the left menu, directly underneath your login confirmation.
* Once you select "Member Preferences," your profile information appears in the white window, and the left menu offers several options to update your account information. The "Members Only Pages" link appears under "Bookmarks."

How do I get back to the AATE home page while navigating the site?
You can click on the AATE logo in the top left corner of the site at any time to return to the AATE home page.

Where do I find information on AATE Networks?
Network pages can be found in the "About AATE" menu. Additionally, you can now join networks online through the "My Committees" link in the "Member Preferences" area.

How do I search for another AATE member?
After logging in, click "Member Preferences" in the left menu, then, in the new left menu that will come up with your preferences page, click "Online Directory," the second option under "Bookmarks"

Can Network Chairs independently modify new Network pages?
Yes! One chair from each Network is authorized to craft their own network's private page in the members-only pages. Use the "My Committees" link under "Member Preferences."

I joined AATE with my 2009 conference registration but am unable to login.
Please note that memberships purchased while registering for conference 2009 are processed by an outside conference planner. That means there is a delay between your purchase of a membership and AATE's receipt of your membership information. Please be sure that your conference registration receipt reflects purchase of an AATE membership, as ATHE memberships are a separate purpose.

I am not receiving email communications from AATE, or have not received email confirmation of my membership. Why?
AATE's new website is hosted by Timberlake Publishing, so check to be sure that your email is enabled to receive emails from both AATE (info@aate.com) and Timberlake Publishing (timberlakepublishing.com). If you are still not receiving information regarding your account, please call AATE to be sure the office has your correct email address.  Also, please note that membership process time varies - if you have mailed, faxed or emailed your membership form or have renewed with the 2009 Conference registration, please allow 2-6 weeks for processing.
