You should be a member of AATE if:

• you are a teacher of any grade who uses drama in your classroom
• you help teachers and/or preservice teachers use drama in the classroom
• you are a theatre professional who deals with children's theatre or theatre for youth
• you are a performer who performs for or with children or youth
• you do theatre in your museum for children or youth
• you are a playwright who writes plays for children or youth
• you do research about education and/or theatre as it pertains to children or youth
• you simply love kids and drama
