Troubleshooting

Having difficulty logging in? Read below for help.

I do not know my member ID.
- Your member ID can be found on your welcome letter. You can also contact the AATE Office for your member ID. If you call, you will be asked to verify your name, address and email address. You may also request your member ID by email, provided you send the request from the email address that is listed in our database.

The log-in page reloads with blank fields.
You may be logged in, but you have not been redirected to the members only area. Try reloading the members page by choosing "for members" in the sidebar or by clicking here.

The page reloads with "incorrect login."
- If you joined or renewed recently, it is possible that the system has not been updated with your new information. Try logging in using the temporary ID provided in your welcome email. To verify your member ID or temporary ID, contact the AATE Office.
- Make sure that Caps lock and Number lock are not selected; the login is case-sensitive
- Is your membership current? If you have not renewed within the past year, your log-in will automatically deactivate. Contact the AATE Office to make sure your membership has been renewed.
- You may not have "cookies" enabled in your browser. You can check this on most programs by going to the preferences menu in your browser (look under the main menu or file menu of the program) and looking at your privacy or security settings. You can usually choose to "accept cookies" from specific sites. Since the AATE site currently uses cookies to validate your login, so you may be unable to login if you choose not to accept them.
