Washington State TIOS, March 29, 2014
This year we are holding our third annual TIOS mini-conference in Seattle. After successful events at ACT Theatre the past two years, on March 29 we will welcome the conference to Seattle Pacific University, in a collaboration between the Theatre Department and the School of Education. Led by keynoter Sally Bailey of Kansas State University, we will focus on the ways theatre education founded on the Common Core State Standards can include and engage all kinds of students, asking "Whose Theatre? Whose Schools? Common Core and Inclusive Education." All sessions will be interactive workshops or demonstration lectures, involving participants in learning and sharing, and giving them tools and resources to take back to their own classrooms. Check out their website for more information and to register.
