BIOS:Irish Brown is a 13-year old eighth grade student at Martin Behrman Charter School. Irish has always had a love for writing because of its ability to transport one to a new world and alleviate stress. At Behrman, Irish is known for her intellectual and athletic abilities. Her favorite subject is Mathematics. Irish is one of the elite eighth graders who were chosen to partake in Algebra I and English I courses that will garner high school credits upon completion. Irish’s belief in herself and desire for a better future are the things that motivate her the most! Ms. Brittany Epps is a middle school English teacher at Martin Behrman Charter School where she has led students to greatness for the last three years. Brittany is a New Orleans native, Warren Easton alumni, and graduate of Howard University in Washington, DC. Upon completion, Brittany immediately returned to New Orleans, finding it imperative to help students in her hometown recognize their full potential. Brittany wishes for her students to witness and experiment with Language Arts in all of its forms, from structured and informative to unrestrained and creative. In her classroom, students immerse themselves in the beauty of the content and resurface as strong individuals, both academically and personally.
