This NY TIOS event will provide theater educators, administrators, and teaching artists space to exchange best practices for serving New York’s diverse populations.  Attendees will experience three breakout sessions for in-depth discussion, networking, and a keynote panel.  Continue the conversation over dinner, and attend a Broadway show at a deep discount.

Brainstorm solutions to challenges you face in your daily work with attendees who work in the same capacity as you.

Choose your meet up: AdministratorsTeaching Artistsor Teachers

 

MEET-UP #2: BY STUDENT AGE LEVEL

Share best practices in crafting activities for the age level you work with most frequently (or want to focus on).

Choose your meet up: Early Childhood (0-PreK)Early Elementary (K-2), Upper Elementary (3-5),Middle School, High School, or Adults

 

MEET-UP #3: BY TOPIC

Make some art surrounding a topic you’re interested in discussing.

Choose your meet up: Arts in the Trump Era, Betsy DeVos & Public Education, or Bullying

WHAT ARE MEET-UPS?

We’ll be giving ourselves the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals, whether it’s people who work in the same capacity as us, teach the same age learner as us, or are interested in the same topic. In each meet-up, we’ll engage in a different interactive workshop designed to allow us to share best practices and ideas.

  

Registration Options:

•Event Only (1pm – 6pm): $15

•Event/Dinner (1pm – 8pm): $35

•Event/Dinner/Show (1pm – 10:30pm): $65
 

Dinner will be held at Tir Na Nog (315 W. 39th Street).
