AATE'S 28th National Conference will be Aug. 5-9 in history-rich Milwaukee. Home to Harley-Davidson, Miller Brewery, the Calatrava Art Museum and the new Global Water Research Center — together we will unite to tap the power of creative minds. We will share with one another our theater expertise and engage with brain and mind scientists as we explore how our work enhances the ability of young people to empathize, achieve and create in a rapidly accelerating and complex world. You betcha, we can't wait to welcome you to the shores of Lake Michigan to experience our famous beers, brats and Cheeseheads, don't cha know!

AATE is looking for presenters to lead workshops for its online, interactive workshop series in 2015
Our online workshop history:
In 2012, AATE launched a line of online programming aiming to provide professional development opportunities to theater educators through interactive sessions with experts in the field. Workshops are accessible via the Internet and can be attended synchronously or asynchronously. CEUs are offered for all workshops; these can be used for re-certification or credit. Certificates of attendance are provided following the completion of the workshop to certify these hours. Previous workshops include "Teaching Drama Online" and "Dramatizing the Content: Curriculum-Based Readers Theatre," both led by Dr. Rosalind Flynn.
