Dulles International Airport was the first U.S. airport designed for commercial jet travel and was dedicated on November 17, 1962 by President John F. Kennedy. The airport is located 26 miles from Washington, DC in Chantilly, Virginia. The airport offers nonstop service to 114 destinations including 37 international locations. Baltimore Washington International Airport
Baltimore Washington International Airport, commonly known as BWI Airport, is located about 45 miles north of Washington, DC. BWI offers approximately 650 domestic and 22 international flights daily. Since Southwest Airlines significantly increased its operations at BWI Airport, more low cost flights are available to the Baltimore-Washington metropolitan area.
