AATE asks the following of its State Representatives:
Communicate with AATE members in your state four times per year (once per quarter). The AATE main office will send you contact information so that you are able to connect to your state membership via email, newsletter, meetings, or whatever method you prefer.
Communicate with the AATE main office four times per year (once per quarter) and report local and regional events, member needs, and accomplishments in your state. You can contact the main office via email or phone.
We will also provide you with a list of other suggested activities and projects that interested State Reps can choose to implement, but those projects are optional.
Like all AATE leadership positions, State Representatives are volunteers. As a token of our appreciation of the work our State Reps do to promote AATE in their states and to encourage them to be involved in their statewide theatre organizations, AATE offers up to $50 in reimbursement for state and regional conference registration fees.
Our national voice can remain strong only with the local knowledge State Reps bring to our organization!
