AATE Projects

Projects

Each year, AATE funds and offers administrative support to several member projects. Projects range in size from printed directories to conference events to mini-conferences (see examples of past projects below).

This year's project proposal deadline has passed, but check back for updates on selected projects! Those who submitted project proposals for 2008 will be contacted regarding the status of your project support by January 2, 2008.

If you have a suggestion or idea for a new resource or program that would benefit AATE members or the field of Theatre and Education, please contact the AATE Office any time to let us know! All current AATE members are eligible to submit project proposals. Additionally, State Reps and Network Chairs are encouraged to collaborate across regions and interest areas to create project proposals that take advantage of the diverse talents and multifaceted expertise of the AATE membership.

You can also Read or download this year's project proposal guidelines, to get an idea of what information is required to propose a project. Please note that guidelines may vary from year to year.

Examples of past AATE Projects include:

The New Plays Directory featuring new plays by AATE members (Click here to download the pdf version)

The Award-Winning Plays Directory

The Youth Theatre Network Retreat (download agenda).

Attention Project Chairs!!
If you need to be reimbursed for a network project, download and complete the RFP. Your request must be within your requested budget, approved by the Programming Director, Dan Kelin, and submitted to the national office within 90 days of project completion.
