Alexis Truitt
Executive Director

Alexis Truitt prior to AATE was the Program Coordinator for the Changing Education Through the Arts (CETA) Program at the Kennedy Center. She holds her Masters in Arts Management from George Mason University and her Bachelors of Music in voice from The Boston Conservatory. She has had the opportunity to intern with the Capitol Hill Arts Workshop, English National Opera, and was an Allen Lee Hughes Fellow at Arena Stage. She also volunteers with The St. Mark’s Players, where she has had the opportunity to wear many fun hats--including Board Member, Treasurer, Director of Community Engagement, and presently Artistic Director. Alexis continues to love being a part of the AATE family as a staff member and looks forward to her continued work directly with the membership.


Katyana Dandridge
Membership Associate

Katyana Dandridge is the Membership Associate for AATE. Using her background in strategic communications, fundraising, and program management, Katyana works to develop, implement, and market efficient membership retention and recruitment strategies as an Associate. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Amherst College (Amherst, MA) in 2018, and in August 2021 she started earning her Master’s in Public Policy and Public Administration at the University of Memphis in Memphis, TN. In her free time, Katyana enjoys being creative through any medium, reading, and watching The Bachelor. She currently resides in Memphis, her hometown, with her black cat Salem.

Fabian Rodriguez
Volunteer Coordinator

Fabian is a recent graduate of Skidmore College, he studied arts administration and theater with a focus on acting and directing. Fabian enjoys working with artists to create new works and theater for social change. This upcoming fall Fabian will be doing a fellowship with Arena Stage in D.C. working with the development team. Fabian looks forward to working with AATE this season and getting to know the team.
