To step away from the endless scroll of emails, deadlines, and demands — and give yourself four days to think, create, and breathe alongside people who get it?

CREATE is a 4-day collaborative retreat for theatre artists, playwrights, writers, and educators who are ready to pause the noise and make space for what's been waiting. Whether you're itching to break ground on a new draft, map out a bold pedagogical experiment, rally a cohort of artivists, or simply need the gift of uninterrupted creative time — this is your invitation.

Past participants call it "a choose your own adventure experience focused on rest, inspiration, community, and creativity." Others say it's simply "the reset you didn't know you desperately needed."

We gather a small, intentional community of 20 — theatre makers, scholars, educators, dreamers — at the Stony Point Center in Stony Point, NY. Tucked away from the noise, it's the kind of place where real conversations happen, ideas catch fire, and you remember why you do this work.

Your all-inclusive fee* includes transfer from meeting point in NYC, retreat registration, private room, and meals as follows:

  • 4-day creative workshops

  • 5 days/4 nights single-occupancy accommodation

  • Homemade meals: 4 breakfasts, 5 lunches, 5 dinners

  • A variety of activities including wine reception, yoga, game night, paint-and-sip
